Story
This September, I’m doing a skydive in memory of my beautiful friend, Lily Lammond.
Lily was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, and throughout it all, she stayed so incredibly positive. That was the kind of person she was - still making us laugh, still checking in on everyone else, even when going through the hardest of times. Lily passed away just a few months after her diagnosis, at just 22 years old.
If you knew Lily, I'm sure you'd agree that she was an absolute ray of sunshine. She was so kind and so selfless. She was always raising money for charity and thinking of others. I aim to be more like Lily, by showing bravery and courage, so this skydive is for her.
Nothing will ever fill the hole that Lily has left in my heart, but trying to make a difference in the way she always did, reminds me she’s still with me in everything I do.
I’ll be thinking of her the whole way up and all the way back down. I will look for you in the rainbows Lil 🌈
Life is precious. Live it to the full. Be more like Lily. 💛
