Story

Thank you for taking time to visit my JustGiving page, my 5 year old daughter Martina had a brain tumour removed 3 years ago and during her operation she suffered a stroke, which severely affected the movement on the left side of her body. She has had neurorehabilitation and intensive physical therapies ever since and today she is able to walk and even run, although she is still having therapies to recover the mobility of her left arm.

One of the charities helping Martina in her recovery is The Children’s Trust. The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury, providing rehabilitation, education and support to children and their families.

We would like to celebrate Martina’s achievements and give something back to the Children’s Trust to continue their support to children with brain injury. To do this, me and my oldest daughter will walk 5 miles through the Surrey hills on Sunday the 17th of March. Please support us and contribute to this great cause if you can! Thank you so much ☺️
