Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
After years of hardship, Syria is finally turning a corner. With many areas now free from conflict, a new chapter begins—one of recovery, healing, and rebuilding. At the heart of this recovery is education.
Located in Alsahara Village, northwest Syria, Iqraa School has been a lifeline for children during the darkest years of war. Established in 2014 by UK-based charity Rethink Rebuild Society, the school continues to serve over 600 students and employs 35 staff members, many of whom rely on this work to support their families.
As Syria begins to rebuild, education is more critical than ever. Iqraa School is helping shape the next generation—children who will become the doctors, teachers, engineers, and leaders of a peaceful Syria.
Here’s how your support makes a difference:
High-quality education for displaced and traumatised children
Psychosocial support to help students heal and thrive
Teacher training in trauma-informed and inclusive methods
Health services and regular nurse visits
Community programs for adult literacy, women’s empowerment, and youth development
Despite the hope, Iqraa School still depends entirely on donations. We urgently need to raise fund to keep the school running .
This is Syria’s moment to rise. Let’s invest in its future—one child at a time.
Please give generously and help us keep Iqraa’s doors open.
