Year 4 at St Lawrence Primary School are AWESOME Agents of Change and have chosen the British Heart Foundation as a charity to champion.

Working together in class, with their teacher Mrs Clark and Teaching Assistants Miss Horton, Mrs Thrower and Miss Whitehead, they started by looking at songs and how some lines rhyme, while some do not. They counted syllables and figured out how to match lyrics. Once they had researched their chosen charity, they were armed with what they could change the lyrics too. Once they had written new lyrics for the Christmas classic All I Want for Christmas by Mariah Carey, it was time to encourage people to donate.
