Thank you so much for supporting my journey to the Berlin Marathon with Street Child 💛

For me, running is no longer just about finishing a race. It’s about running with purpose.

I grew up as the daughter of Vietnamese immigrants in Germany, and I’ve seen firsthand what resilience, sacrifice, and opportunity can do for a family. My parents built everything from scratch so that I could have a better future. That experience shaped how I see the world and why I care so deeply about giving others the same chance.

That’s why I chose to run for Street Child. Street Child works in some of the world’s toughest places, making sure children are safe, in school, and able to build a future, even in crisis and conflict. They focus on the children who are most often forgotten, stepping in where help is needed most. Education is one of the most powerful tools we have to break cycles of poverty. It creates opportunity, dignity, and hope not just for one child, but for entire communities.

Running this marathon is my way of turning that belief into action. I’ve already fundraised for causes supporting children in crisis, including the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, and I’ve seen how powerful it is when people come together for something bigger than themselves.
