Fundraising for community yoga class at the Crannie

EOTDT aims to support a vibrant, sustainable community in the Old Town by: developing enterprising projects to meet local needs; establishing a network of gardens and green spaces; promoting education and training; and preserving the area’s built and cultural heritage.

Story

I am raising money for the Crannie Community Hub to fund the continuation of the Gentle Yoga: Mindfulness and Movement class. The class is run by Edinburgh Community Yoga and is open for all to join for free. I have been assisting with the class since the start of the year and have personally witnessed the positive impact it has on those who attend. The class offers a space where attendees can feel safe, comfortable and part of a community. Unfortunately, due to a lack of funding the class is currently at risk of coming to an end. Raising £2,000 would enable us to continue for another year, providing an invaluable resource to those attending. It has been a privilege to witness the benefit these classes have on the wellbeing of participants, and I have shared in that benefit as well. Any donations towards the continuation of the class would have a big impact and is greatly appreciated by all involved in running and attending them.
