Yoga in the Dark for RNIB - Royal National Institute of Blind People

Naomi Hayama is raising money for RNIB - Royal National Institute of Blind People

Yoga in the Dark · 8 December 2025

Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, we can be there when people need us most, support independent living, create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss. Every pound you raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.

Story

We're offering a fun and relaxing yoga class with Naomi in a dimly lit room with optional eye masks!

It will be a great opportunity to see how much we rely on our sight, and to experience yoga in a completely new way. This unique class will help to relax the eyes and mind, and regulate the nervous system.

We’ll create a lovely dimly lit studio space. It’s completely optional for you to use eye masks – Please feel free to take them off any time. We want the session to be interesting, fun and enjoyable!

This event is taught by Naomi Hayama, the owner of Bristol Yoga Centre. She has been teaching yoga for over 20 years and specialises in Vision Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation and Somatic Movement.

Please book in advance as there are limited spaces in the studio. This event is held at Bristol Yoga Centre on 10 Park Row, Bristol 5LJ

We have plenty of spots available online!

Suggested donations for the yoga class will be on a sliding scale from £5 to £20. It will be available live online as well.
