Story
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support.
I was born with a congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) and had two open heart surgeries before the age of 1. I have had countless minimal invasive surgeries and am under constant specialist care. I am immensely grateful for the medial advances and the continues research as it helps me live a longer life. I know I will need more surgeries in the future and I am grateful for every day I feel well and can teach yoga to help others keeping well and strengthen their cardiovascular health.
23rd November 2023 marks my 30 year anniversary of my last open heart surgery, which was a 50/50 chance of survival. I am here, I am alive and my heart is beating stronger than ever. Let's raise money to help others who are in need.
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.
Thank you so much for your support!
