One in four women will experience domestic abuse at some point in their lifetime and on average one woman is killed every 5 days in England and Wales by a current or former partner.

Refuge, Yonder’s chosen charity for 2025, is the largest provider of specialist services for survivors of domestic, sexual, and gender-based abuse. One of their most vital services is the National Domestic Abuse Helpline – a free, 24-hour helpline that provides a lifeline to women escaping abuse, helping thousands of women and children each year.
