CYCLISTS FIGHTING CANCER enables children and young people living with cancer across the UK to regain their physical fitness and mental wellness by giving them new bikes, adapted trikes, tandems, other equipment and support. Physical activity is a key element in rehabilitation from treatments.

Story

Hi, I’m Harvey, a 8 year-old cyclist from Warwickshire. On the 7th June 2025, I’ll be pedaling from Windsor Castle back home to Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire. It’s going to be just over 100 miles, and I’ll be riding alongside my mum, dad and gran to support Cyclists Fighting Cancer, a charity close to our hearts.

Every year, around 2,400 children and young people in the UK are diagnosed with cancer. This charity helps them regain their strength and joy by providing new bikes, adapted trikes, and vital support throughout their treatment and recovery. Since 2005, they’ve given over 8,500 bikes and trikes to kids in need, and they rely on amazing fundraisers like you to keep going!

With 5 children diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK, I’m taking on this challenge to make a real difference. But that’s not all—I’ll also be tackling a series of exciting challenges and activities to boost my fundraising and training efforts.

Recently, we hosted a hugely successful clothes sale, and raffle and I want to say a big thank you to everyone who contributed. Your generosity is truly appreciated!

Follow me on this journey for updates on my rides and other fun activities. Your support means the world and will help bring hope and strength to brave children battling cancer.

Thank you for joining me on this adventure!
