Yorkshire’s Ambulance Station

Beit Shemesh Ambulance Station is in desperate need of complete refurbishment. Having served the communities of West Jerusalem for over 70 years, the equipment and facilities at the Station need to be replaced, in order to improve rest areas for the 180 volunteers, 8 paramedics and 22 medics and a base for the 4 MICU, 10 ambulances, 1 MCI, countless motorcycles and electric vehicles.
This rapidly-growing city is expected to double the population size within the next 10 years.
Beit Shemesh Ambulance Station is engineered to respond to mass casualties from earthquakes and terror attacks, alongside responding to over 900 emergency call-outs every month.
The Station operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and is also used as a training hub for the expanding team of volunteers and staff.
Yorkshire is tasked with raising £120,000 to completely refurbish the Station and transform the lives of the operators, volunteers and the surrounding communities.
By October 6th 2024, we want to be in a position to instruct the build crews to start work and we can’t wait to invite guests to the newly refurbished Yorkshire Ambulance Centre at Beit Shemesh.
