The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge 2026 · 20 June 2026

Huntington's Disease Association England and Wales exists to support anyone who is affected by Huntington's disease. It pursues the best possible care; provides training and advice to families and professionals; raises awareness, and promotes research towards better treatment and care.

Story

Hi All,

After taking on the Lake District 24 Peaks Challenge last year and raising over £8,500, we're back again with an even bigger team for another challenge - this time tackling the Yorkshire 3 Peaks.

Once again, we're doing this to raise money for the Huntington's Disease Association for our mate Shaun, and in memory of his dad Dave.

As many of you know, Shaun was diagnosed with Huntington's in November 2024 so it's a cause that means a huge amount to all of us. The support shown last year was amazing, and we're hoping to build on that and raise even more this time around.

For those who may not know, Huntington's disease is a hereditary condition that affects movement, behaviour and cognitive ability. The Huntington's Disease Association provides vital support to individuals and families affected across England and Wales, and every donation genuinely makes a difference.

This year's challenge is the Yorkshire 3 Peaks - climbing Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in under 12 hours. That's 24 miles of walking with over 5,000ft of ascent... all in one go!

We'd massively appreciate any support or donations, no matter how big or small. It really does go a long way.

Thanks again for all your support! 💚
