Yorkshire Three Peaks · 14 September 2024

The charity was set up to help families with Autistic children. We wanted to share our experiences and pass on the knowledge we had gained from bringing up 2 children on the Autistic spectrum. We offer 24 hour one to one crisis, school support as well as out of school clubs for the children

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are a group of 13 people who are raising money for fantastic charity BEAT AUTISM. The group is led by Amanda, who's granddaughter Lily was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2.

We have decided to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on the 14th of September 2024. Our team of 13 people already started practising as we know it's a big challenge for us all.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge is a 24,5 miles circular walk that encompasses three major peaks in the Yorkshire Dales. Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough.

BEAT AUTISM offer one to one sessions for parents and children living with Autism.

BEAT AUTISM has 20 years of experience dealing with Autistic children and feels passionate about being able to help others.

BEAT AUTISM aim is to raise awareness to all the children to be themselves and for society to accept their differences and allow them to be who they are.

This event is a joint effort for two charities, and money will also be going to ANDYSMANCLUB. We would like to keep the funds as equal as possible. You can see our second fundraising page in the link below.
