Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are a group of 13 people who are raising money for a fantastic charity ANDYSMANCLUB. The group is led by Stewart to honour and remember his son Harry, who tragically passed away earlier this year.

We have decided to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge on the 14th September 2024. Our team of 13 people have already started practising as we know it's a big challenge for us all.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge is a 24.5 mile circular walk that encompasses three major peaks in the Yorkshire Dales. Pen-Y-Ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside.

ANDYSMANCLUB is a male suicide prevention charity that facilitates peer to peer support groups across the UK. Suicide is the biggest killer of men in the UK. In 2021, 3852 men died by suicide. Men accounted for 74% of UK suicides in 2021.

The charity's ultimate aim is to prevent other families experiencing unthinkable pain and loss. ANDYSMANCLUB aim is to break down the barriers and reduce the stigmas surrounding men's mental health.

This event is a joint effort for two charities, and money will also be donated to BEAT AUTISM. We would like the funds as equal as possible. You can see our second fundraising page in the link below.
