Yorkshire Three Peaks · 2 August 2024

The RFL Benevolent Fund provides relief for people who have been injured whilst playing or training for rugby football league.

Story

Arkoni - with help of The Danny Jones Fund - will be installing a public access defibrillator outside our head office for both ourselves and the general public to use, should we ever unfortunately need to.

There are more than 30,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests in the UK each year and with the overall survival rate in the UK being less than one in ten, early CPR and defibrillation can more than double the chances of survival. Which goes to show how important having a defib close by is.

Therefore, due to the help and services of The Danny Jones Fund as well as to raise awareness, we as a company in return, will be raising money for the fund by attempting to walk the Yorkshire Three peaks on the 2nd of August 2024.
