Our awesome and dedicated team of volunteers will be heading to Kenya in summer 2025! We will be transforming an empty field at a local school into a vibrant playground so that children can access a childhood!

2025年の夏、Play Action InternationalというイギリスのNGO団体を通して、ケニアに2週間 ボランティア活動を行います。Play Action Internationalは、子供たちが遊びを通じて社会的、教育的に成長できる環境を提供することで社会全体の発展を支援している団体です。現地では、子供たちの遊び場や公園を建設する予定です。

国際政治学を専攻している私自身は、世の中をより良い方向に変えていくためには、知識や理論といった専門的な視点と、現場での実践的な支援の両方が必要であると感じております。さらに、若者の政治参加や社会参画に大きな意味があると感じている私にとって、この団体にて青少年支援に従事することは、アフリカ社会全体へ影響を与えるための大きな第一歩となると考えています。また、教育やインフラ整備に重きを置いている団体が多い中（それらももちろんとても大切ですが）、Play Action Internationalは、子供たちにとって最も重要であり、彼らの社会が自然に育まれる「遊び」に重きを置いている点も活動の源泉でもあります。
