Hi everyone, my name is Yung-Chin Lin, a student from Taiwan currently studying Mechatronics Engineering. I’m about to embark on a one-semester exchange program in Europe.

This journey is more than just an overseas experience to me—it’s a stepping stone toward my future. It’s a chance to broaden my perspective, gain hands-on experience in my field, and prepare myself for a career in advanced engineering.

Although I’ve worked hard to earn the opportunity to study abroad, I now face a very real challenge—covering the cost of living during my exchange. A few years ago, my family suffered a major setback and lost a key source of income. Since then, I’ve been juggling part-time jobs and schoolwork in order to ease the financial burden at home.

However, the visa application process alone has already required a large amount of upfront expenses, and I now find myself struggling to make ends meet before the trip even begins.

That’s why I’ve decided to launch this JustGiving campaign—with the hope of receiving support from kind-hearted people like you. Every donation will go directly toward my basic living costs in Spain, including accommodation, food, and transportation. Your help will allow me to focus on learning and making the most of this life-changing opportunity.
