Yvonne and Paul are taking part in the epic Fire Walk challenge to raise vital funds for Mount Vernon Cancer Centre.

Last year having found a lump I was diagnosed with breast cancer.

The chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments I received at Mount Vernon were not just medical procedures; they were delivered with compassion, understanding, and unwavering support from the dedicated staff.

At the beginning of 2025 we were given the fantastic news that I am currently cancer free so we wanted to give something back to Mount Vernon and the remarkable team who stood by us during our toughest times.

Being afraid of heights I would never be able to do a parachute jump so the Fire Walk presents a perfect challenge for me - keeping our feet firmly on the ground.
