I'm Jumping for St John's!

Yvonne Barrington is raising money for St John's Hospice North Lancashire and South Lakes
In memory of Jacquie
Would you like to feel an adrenaline rush like no other? Why not spread your wings and ‘Jump for St John’s!’ YOU could experience the thrill of free falling from up to 15,000ft to support your local hospice in an sponsored tandem skydive.

Story

Hi, I hope you can support me on my journey to remember Jacquie.

As the title suggests, I am taking part in a Skydive on April 12th. I'm hoping to raise as much money as possible to help support St John's Hospice.

I think we all know or have heard of someone who has experienced the services of this amazing, caring place.

Thank you sincerely for your contribution, any amount will be gratefully appreciated.

With love Yvonne

St John’s Hospice has been part of the local community for 40 years and provides vital service to patients and families all over our community. Our aim is to ensure that on the journey towards the end of life, we provide the right care, in the right place, at the right time.

Our care will always be free to those who need it, but it isn’t cost free. It costs £602 per hour to run the hospice and all our services with only around a quarter of this amount provided by local NHS funding. The remaining three quarters must be raised through events, community donations, grants and legacies.
