My husband Geoff was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease August 1995 and succumbed to the disease on the 4th March 1996. He was father to two sons David 19yrs & Gareth 17yrs

At the time of diagnosis he was a serving Fire Officer with a distinguished 24yrs service with the Greater Manchester Fire Service

My fundraising event is a Wall Climb at Irlam Fire Station alongside our Five Grandchildren, whom he never met but I’m sure he knows about 🙏
