Story
I have been a volunteer with Steps to Hope for 3 years who provide a 3 course dinner every Sunday and Monday at Old St Paul’s Church for the homeless and those suffering addiction.
Steps to Hope also operate a10 bedroomed residential programme who have now been granted permission to build a 5 bedroomed property within the grounds of Hope House. This will increase capacity within their residential recovery program by 50%. This is a completely free service to those suffering from addiction and desires recovery.
Their purpose is to deliver 20 graduates every year which will allow them to live a life of entire abstinence and at the same time giving them purpose and direction for their future. With the help of another 5 bedroom property the number of graduates will be able to increase.
To help fund this extension on 24th May I will be walking the Camino de Santiago in 12 days continuing onto the Camino Finisterre known as the end of world in 4 days, a total of 16 days and 230 miles.
Please support me on this challenge, every penny will make a difference helping others into recovery.
