Story

A Legacy of Courage: Honoring Zablon’s Fight Against Youth Crime

Zablon was not just a brother—he was a light in a place where many had lost their way. Growing up, he saw firsthand how easily young people in our community were pulled into crime, not because they were bad, but because they lacked guidance, opportunity, and a safe place to belong. While many chose to walk away or stay silent, Zablon chose a different path—he chose to stand and fight for them.

He spent his time talking to young people in the streets, encouraging them to believe in themselves, and reminding them that their future was not defined by their circumstances. He organized small gatherings, mentored those willing to listen, and became a voice of hope where there was once despair. To many, he was more than a mentor—he was a protector, a role model, and a brother.

Zablon believed that what the youth needed most was not punishment, but a place—a safe space where they could gather, learn, share, and grow away from negative influences. He dreamed of building a social hall, a center where young people could access guidance, skills, and community support. It was a dream rooted in love and a deep desire to change lives.

Tragically, Zablon is no longer with us. But his vision, his passion, and his fight did not end with him. Today, we carry his dream forward.

We are fundraising to build a social hall in his memory—a place that will stand as a symbol of hope, transformation, and second chances. This hall will provide a safe environment for the youth, offering mentorship programs, community activities, and opportunities to choose a better path—just as Zablon always encouraged.

By supporting this cause, you are not just helping us build a structure—you are helping us build futures. You are helping us continue Zablon’s mission to fight youth crime through compassion, guidance, and empowerment.

Zablon may be gone, but his legacy lives on in every life we change, every young person we guide, and every dream we help rebuild.

Together, we can turn his vision into reality.
