Story
We are fundraising for Leeds Children's Transplant team because...
This year Zac will be competing at the Transplant Games in Oxford as part of this amazing team.
Zac will be walking 1 mile per week from June 16th (Zacs Birthday) to July 25th (Zacs Transplant anniversary) each mile representing a week before transplant.
Sponsoring Zac and helping us to raise money allows families like ours to come together and meet people who have had similar experiences.
To think he was in Leeds Children’s Hospital recovering from his transplant when we first heard of this event, and now he’s able to compete is mind blowing.

As most of you already know. Zac was born healthy on June 16th 2022, unfortunately a few days after birth he became gravely unwell, we were told he had liver failure and he was sent to Leeds Children’s Hospital incase he needed a Liver Transplant. After a 5 week long fight and eventually being listed on the Super Urgent Transplant list at 3.5kg, Zac got his second chance at life, a lucky 2 day wait, a 12 hour life changing op and months of recovery in ICU we got him home to enjoy life as a family.
We can’t believe nearly 3 years have passed and we can now take him to compete in the Transplant Games.
Every penny is hugely appreciated!! Thanks so much to you all for your support!!
