Story
The Mental Health Foundation is the UK’s charity for everyone’s mental health.
Mental health affects so many of us, and it’s something that has touched my life deeply. Over the years I’ve seen friends lose loved ones, and I’ve lost my own cousin to mental health. It’s had a real impact on me and the people around me — and that’s why I’m doing this skydive.
This January 2026, I’ll be taking part in a skydive to raise awareness and support the Mental Health Foundation.
It’s completely outside my comfort zone, but that’s exactly why I’m doing it — to face fear head-on, the same way so many people face their own internal battles every single day.
And truthfully, I’ve had my own.
For a long time, I struggled silently with my thoughts. I looked “fine,” but I wasn’t. I turned to partying and alcohol more than I should have, and it took a toll — especially after being diagnosed with ADHD last year. It’s these hidden struggles that often go unnoticed.
I’ve seen friends, family, and myself go through mental health challenges. So if you’re struggling, please know this: you’re not alone.
And that’s why this charity means so much — it provides support, tools, and hope when people need it most.
I’m doing this to raise awareness, to support the Mental Health Foundation, and to make a difference — especially for men who often stay silent.
Thank you for supporting, sharing, donating, or simply reading. It truly means more than you know. 💚
