Story
The Daisy Garland are a wonderful charity who support children with drug resistant epilepsy and their families. The charity provide children and their families with a range of support including funding for ketogenic dietitians, parent support groups, fabulous welcome boxes to help when starting the diet and funding life saving sleep monitors. These sleep monitors cost £455 and it would be amazing if we could raise enough money to fund at least one of these monitors.
We have recently started being supported by the charity as our son, Zachary is now starting the Keto diet as his epilepsy has become drug resistant. When Zachary was 11 weeks old he contracted meningitis and suffered a stroke due to the infection. Zachary's epilespy has been caused by the scarring in his brain from the meningitis and stroke. Zachary is now 5 years old and can have approximately 37 seizures in a 24 hour period. Zachary's dad, Will, is running the London marathon to help raise money for the Daisy Garland, please help us to raise as much money as possible to help support other families like ours.
