I am raising money for Amnesty International UK by taking part in the Everest Base Camp Challenge. I will be trekking to the iconic Everest Base Camp. This is a multi-day trek to significant altitude (5,645m above sea level).

This follows on from my previous charity work abroad when I supported a community in Vietnam by helping to build a road to an isolated village.

Your donations will help Amnesty International UK expose human rights abuses in the UK and all over the world and to campaign for freedom and justice. Amnesty International UK work on a wide range of issues including women's rights, refugee rights, the human rights impact of climate change and in support of individuals whose rights have been violated.
