A Change of Plans… But the Challenge Is Still On! 🏔️🏃

Unfortunately, my trail marathon on 12th July was cancelled at the last minute due to the extreme heatwave. While it was disappointing after months of training, the organisers made the right decision to put runner safety first.

The good news is that the challenge isn’t over.

I’ve now secured a place in the CBTE Blencathra Trail Marathon in the Lake District on Sunday 6th September. It’s another tough trail marathon, so all the training, determination and fundraising continue exactly as planned.

Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared my page or sent messages of support. Your encouragement means a huge amount, and I’ll be thinking of you all when I’m taking on the fells in September.

The finish line has changed—but the mission hasn’t. See you in the Lakes!
