Story
"Every step for Mum. Every mile for a cure."
🏃♂️ Stroke Survivor to Marathon Runner: Funding Cancer Care. Peace and prosperity be with you all. I am a 65-year-old "young man," a stroke survivor, and a diabetic. Instead of letting my health define me, I am taking on the ultimate challenge: the Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon in Vietnam on 4 October 2026.
To prepare my body for 26.2 miles in punishing 22°C–28°C tropical heat and humidity, I have dedicated 540 grueling hours to training over the last 6 months. I am managing strict dietary needs, intense physical endurance, and daily medication to make this happen.
I am completely self-funding this journey—paying for flights, hotels, and race fees entirely out of my own pocket. I am investing thousands of pounds because the cause is worth it.I am doing the hard miles. Will you support the cause?
I am raising vital funds for the Imran Khan Cancer Appeal (IKCA) to provide free, life-saving treatments to impoverished cancer patients in Pakistan. Please donate today. Every pound you contribute goes directly to giving someone a fighting chance at life. Thank you for your immense generosity and prayers!
