Hi, I'm Zahra, I was born at the John Radcliffe hospital and my family were supported by SSNAP, the charity my mum now works for. I was born at 25 weeks with a very little chance of survival, developed meningitis, heart defects, and my parents told I won't be able to walk or talk.

I am now 21, and have a beautiful twin sister, and we survived it. SSNAP was there to support our parents through everything and this is only the smallest thing I can do to give back. Any donations would be greatly appreciated x

While your baby has specialist treatment at the John Radcliffe Hospital, SSNAP provide vital support to families. We also fund equipment for the unit, invest in training for NHS staff, run Little SSNAPlings and support research projects.
