Story
I am going to take part in the Birmingham Running Festival on 21st of July at Sutton Park for a 5k run along with my 11 year old daughter to raise money for free cataract operations for those who have lost their sight but cannot afford these operations.
Free cataract surgeries is one of the noble projects of MIAT (Midlands International Aid Trust) among many other humanitarian causes that have been funded across the globe. Thousands of such operations have already been done by the organisation in Africa and other poor countries and hence many have got their eyes back again.
5k what’s the big deal?? Since recovering from a c-section after the birth of my baby boy and going through an emotional and physical metamorphosis process along with 3 months of sleepless nights with the newborn it does feel a big deal.😊
Please donate for this amazing noble cause. Just Imagine the worth of giving someone their sight back !

We will also be supporting St. John Ambulance on the day for all their efforts to look after people when they need them the most.
