This October, I’m heading to Malawi to not only deliver much-needed aid but also to work alongside our team in supporting the incredible communities in the rural villages. Malawi, one of the world’s poorest nations, is in desperate need of our assistance to combat hunger and poverty, and I’m committed to helping on the ground.

Why Malawi?

In Malawi, over half the population lives on less than $1 a day, and the situation in rural areas is particularly dire. Many families face chronic hunger and lack access to even the most basic healthcare. Green Crescent Aid UK has been a lifeline for these communities for years, with a proven track record of transparency and effectiveness. They’ve provided food, healthcare, education, water, to tens of thousands of villagers, making a real, lasting impact.

My Role in This Mission

During my time in Malawi, I’ll be actively involved in distributing food parcels—each worth £25—containing essentials like flour, sugar, salt, soybeans, cooking oil, chitenje cloth, and more. Our team will also be providing hot meals, baby food, and other critical supplies, all of which are zakat-eligible.

I’ll also be documenting this journey so you can see exactly where your contributions are going and the impact they’re having. I’ll be sharing videos along the way, allowing you to witness the difference we’re making together. If you know me then you’ll know I love to vlog 😆
