I chose to fundraise for MHM Wales Dementia Hub because every person living with dementia deserves dignity, understanding, and community. As a volunteer with the Hub, I've witnessed firsthand how their warm, welcoming spaces allow people to be seen for who they truly are and not defined by their condition. The compassionate staff and fellow volunteers create environments where meaningful connections flourish, where someone is always ready with a cup of tea and a listening ear. I've seen how the impact of this work ripples through families and communities, easing the journey for both those with dementia and their loved ones. My time volunteering has shown me how MHM Wales Dementia Hub stands as a beacon of hope, offering practical support alongside genuine human connection. By fundraising alongside my volunteer work, I'm helping ensure that more people can access the care, understanding and companionship they need during challenging times.
