Story
Zak Rogers, Charlie Moulding and Alex O'Hare are school friends and we're running the Great Manchester Run 2025 to support David Lewis.
Here's some information about the charity:
'Based on a 200 acre rural site in Warford just outside of Alderley Edge we provide holistic services for people with complex support needs, epilepsy and autism. We have 20 residential homes on our Warford site and 7 in the community across Cheshire, daytime activities, skills development, a school and college, a shop, café, gym, swimming pool and therapy suites. In a typical year we help around 300 people with complex needs lead remarkable lives.
Our setting is calming and tranquil - the perfect place for young people and adults who can find common aspects of life challenging or difficult to process. The site includes a farm with rare breed animals, a nature reserve and a forest school. We have also recently planted over 7,000 trees and 2,300 hedgerows to create a forest area. It's a refuge where day visitors, residents and students can be active participants, learning and interacting in nature.
We are passionate about giving people independence and a positive identity to increase their self-esteem and unlock their full potential.'
