WE NEED YOUR HELP!!

The spirit of Christmas is the spirit of generosity and each and every year I teach my children the importance of giving and not just receiving.

We help families in need and donate to shelters throughout the holidays treats, gifts and our time.

Last year we chose the women’s shelter as our charity. This year we have a family close to our hearts that are having an extremely hard year and need our help!

Our wonderful Co-op/Baker has a little sister that has been back and forth to sick kids for over 5 months. Her mom has had to quit her job to stay with her for weeks on end and run her back and forth for weekly appointments when she does come home for a short time.

Skye (11) has late stage cirrhosis of the liver , celiac disease, a dairy allergy now ....and four different genetic abnormalities that have caused global delays.

Haylee also has a sister (18) brother (14) and they foster a child (18) who are at home and miss their mom. They have felt a significant difference in the household since Skye was diagnosed. While Haylee tries her best to take care of her family at home by cooking, cleaning and helping any way she can. She is also an honour role student and works for Bella Cakes part time.

This local family is struggling financially and mentally and need our help to make their Christmas Magical.

I will be collecting food, monetary gifts, grocery gift cards, gas cards, and gifts for Skye’s Santa’s List.

Anything helps and a little goes a long way !
