Story

🏃‍♂️ Half Marathon for Haematology & Palliative Care Patients

I’m running a half marathon to raise money for Ward 30 – Haematology Day Ward & Haematology Outpatients Clinic.

Recently, thanks to incredible support, we raised funds for 7 new chemotherapy chairs. These chairs have helped put smiles on patients’ faces and added much-needed comfort during long treatment sessions. Small changes in surroundings can make a huge difference when someone is going through chemotherapy.

But we’re not stopping there.

Our aim is to continue improving patient comfort and creating safe, friendly, and welcoming surroundings through additional furniture and enhancements to the ward environment.

Haematology and palliative care patients spend many hours — sometimes days — in hospital. If we can make their journey even a little easier, more comfortable, and more dignified, it truly matters.

Every donation, no matter how small, will help us:

Improve patient comfort

Enhance treatment spaces

Support a calm and caring environment

Make difficult days just that little bit easier

Please help us continue this drive to support our patients in the smallest ways that make the biggest difference.

Thank you so much for your support 💛
