Zara’s Journey of Hope: Volunteering Abroad in Turkey to Support Orphans and Distribute Much-Needed Aid

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh (May peace and blessings be upon you), I hope this message finds you well and in good health.

Alhamdulillah, I have been blessed with the opportunity to volunteer at refugee camps in Turkey, which host one of the world’s largest refugee population. Tragically, the recent devastating earthquake has left the majority of those affected in these very camps, further compounding their struggles. I plan to visit the earthquake-affected regions of Gaziantep and Hatay once I reach my total to contribute to this vital cause (donations will be getting matched, doubling the impact of every contribution).

During my time there, I will be helping to prepare and distribute food parcels, provide medical aid, hygiene kits, and spend time with the community—especially orphans—offering them support and solace during these challenging times.

This cause is very close to my heart, as I have been sponsoring orphans for over five years. Now, I have the chance to extend this effort in person to those most in need.

To make this possible, I am aiming to raise £5,500. Every penny donated will go directly toward supporting orphans, widows, and families in desperate need. Your contributions will help provide essential food packages and life-saving aid to those who have lost everything.
