For those of you who know me, I have been growing my hair for a long time (some may argue too long 👀), and it will be sad to see it go! However, I’m more than happy to say that this will be for a good cause, raising for the Lady Fatemah (as) Trust (LFT) Gaza Appeal 🇵🇸.

With enough generous donations, on Saturday 24th February I will shave my head on livestream for all to see, before trialling out my new bald head at that evening’s Milad celebrations at Oxford ABSoc (purchase tickets for the event here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc1KZfzCRNUgg2G6oFTXir6ioX9F5Gaj9-wmLQONByOd6grew/viewform)!

The people of Palestine are suffering a case of brutal apartheid and ethnic cleansing, as per multiple human rights organisations. Nearly 30,000 people have been murdered by the genocidal Zionist regime since October, with over 10,000 being children.

It is our duty and responsibility as human beings to support the victims, and one of the ways we can do this is to provide lifesaving humanitarian aid. For this reason, I have decided to join with the brilliant charity LFT, whose amazing work so far in Gaza can be read below:

“Our ground partner is now procuring urgently needed aid, comprising medicines and disposables for to treat serious bacterial infections, antibiotic injections to treat respiratory tract infections, and treatment of traumatic injuries. This will directly benefit the following hospitals in southern Gaza—Nasser Hospital, European Gaza Hospital in Khan Younis, Shuhada al Aqsa Hospital in the Middle Area, Abu Yousef Al Najjar Hospital in Rafah and PMRS Mobile Health Teams.”
