Story
Ziggy is 3 years old and is an amazing little boy. He has Down syndrome and is smashing life, showing the world how the condition is not something to be feared or judged negatively. Mum Susie is so proud of him, as are his Aunties Becky and Kate!
Having Down syndrome means it takes Ziggy a little bit longer to develop his fine and gross motor skills, to walk and communicate. It's thanks to support from charities such as Small Steps that he is doing so well.
Ziggy attended Small Steps weekly for nearly two years, receiving incredible support from the team there who worked with Mum, Susie, to help his development. It's called Conductive Education and has helped with all sorts of things from sitting, to crawling, to walking and Communication. The team are brilliant, going above and beyond to support not just Ziggy, but Susie too... always ready with a listening ear and a cup of tea.
This wonderful charity relies on donations from generous supporters and companies to run it's services and help children like Ziggy. Times are tough and they need to raise another £500k by the end of May if they are to continue to provide their services at the current level. Which is why Susie, Kate and Becky are taking on a 10k run to raise some vital funds for a charity that has done so much for our family.
Please spare what you can to help. Even £1 will help make a difference.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
