Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro · 19 September 2025

The Mental Health Foundation believe no-one living in the UK should be deprived of the opportunity for good mental health because of who they are, the community they come from or where they live. We’re developing better ways to support good mental health in every community.

Story

Hi everyone,

This year, I’m taking on the challenge of a lifetime! Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, with my amazing friend Kimia, in support of the Mental Health Foundation.

Over 8 days, we’ll hike 90km to reach the summit at 5,895m above sea level.

I’m doing this in memory of my Aunty Caroline, who we sadly lost due to her own mental health struggles. This climb is for her, and for everyone affected by mental health – something that touches all of us in one way or another.

We’re raising money for the Mental Health Foundation, a charity that works to improve mental health for all through research, community programmes, and public education.

My goal is to raise £5,500 by October 2025, I’d be so grateful for your support! Whether you can donate or share this page, it truly means the world.

Thank you so much 💚

Zoë
