Zoe's fundraiser for American Parkinson Disease Association

Zoe Beckerman is raising money for American Parkinson Disease Assoc
The American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) is a nationwide grassroots network dedicated to fighting PD and help the approximately one million with PD in the United States live life to the fullest in the face of this chronic, neurological disorder.

Story

Hi friends,

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. As many of you know, I now sit on the Board of the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA). While I don't have a family member with Parkinson's Disease (PD), I have many friends and colleagues whose lives have been affected by it.

Did you know:

-Every six minutes someone is diagnosed with PD.

-PD is the fastest growing neurodegenerative disease in the world, and the second most common after Alzheimer’s disease.

-An estimated 1 million people in the U.S. live with PD; more than 10 million people worldwide do.

Funds raised enable APDA to continue providing local education, information, and support to those touched by Parkinson's disease in our communities and fund scientific research into the causes, prevention, treatments and ultimately the cure.

The more funds we raise, the more people we can help!

Thank you for making an online secure donation. Together, we can make a difference.
