It’s probably a daft idea but I’m running the Vitality London 10k, Potters ‘Arf and Chester Metric Marathon (26.2k) over three consecutive weekends, starting on 22nd September and ending on 6th October-my birthday. How times have changed. 😂

I’m raising money for the Samaritans in memory of my little brother Richie who sadly died in an accident in October 2004, aged 17. Richie was a kind, considerate lad born when I was ten, the annoying little brother who was starting to become my pal. I don’t know where those 20 years have gone, but I do know that grief is not linear and it was comforting to know there was always someone to talk to when I was finding it difficult to cope.
