Those that know me know my story but for those that don’t, in March 2022 just weeks after turning 28 I found out I had Stage 2 Breast Cancer.

I underwent treatment and with all the side effects listed... I probably had it! But in December 2022, after Lumpectomy, freezing my eggs, Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy, I finished my cancer treatment, and I am 2 years clear!

This experience highlighted just how lucky I am that I found the lump early when I did, a lot of my family and friends had no idea how to check and hardly ever did so I want to raise as much awareness (and money!) as possible to ensure more people get checking and those that do find something get more positive outcomes!

In June 2024 I got a place in the Brecon Beacons Coppafeel trek that changed my life! and when the opportunity came up to put my name in the ha for this one, it was a no brainer! So here I am, a place on the Iceland Trek!

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest.

We educate people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests regularly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves. We do this because when diagnosed early and accurately, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection truly can save lives.
