My name is Zoe, and on the 13 of December I will be running the Victoria Park Half Marathon alongside one of my best friends Mia in order to raise money to support families affected by a rare form of stomach cancer.

My family sadly lost my mum to stomach cancer in 2015, this experience showed me how this illness impacts not only the individual, but everyone around them. Through this run, I hope to ensure that family's facing similar circumstances feel supported and also to raise awareness of the challenges they endure. I hope to make a difference for those who need extra strength and understanding at such a difficult time. Since the charity was set up in 2018 we have already been able to support numerous families, and with these donations hope to do more.
