St Christopher's is a hospice proud to offer world class palliative and end of life care to patients, alongside compassion and support to those closest to them. St Christopher’s, however, are much more than a hospice and their work expands across practical, emotional and spiritual support to over 7,500 people locally.

In 2019 I lost my wonderful Nan. She was a beacon of light and so deeply loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. With the support and compassion from the nurses at St Christopher’s, myself and my family were able to better understand what the final moments of my nans life entailed and the new sense of home offered to her, providing comfort and unwavering support that I know she so deeply valued thanks to the wonderful care in place.

In the years that have passed, St Christopher’s have continued to touch the lives of my close family and friends and have become a fundamental cause that we will always continue to support.

34% of St Christopher’s income comes from the NHS, meaning they rely on the generosity of donations and fundraising to fulfil the further 66% in order to continue the extraordinary work that they do.

On Sunday 27th April 2025 I will be running the TCS London Marathon on behalf of St Christopher’s, fundraising as much as I can for such an incredible charity and embracing every part of the process along the way!
