Story
I am running the London Marathon to help raise money for St Raphael's hospice so that they can continue to provide exceptional end of life care and support to patients and their loved ones.
St Raphael's does really important and impactful work and has recently had to undertake £1M in cuts, having seen their costs rise by £1.1M over the last few years as a result of inflation.
I chose to run this marathon for St Raphael's because of the support they gave to my best friend and her family. Me, Kirsty (and Leonie) have been best friends since we were 6 months old. And I am incredibly grateful to St Raphael's for being there for Kirsty's Dad, Liam, and for Kirsty and her Mum, Heather, too. I'm proud to run for St Raphs, and I'm glad that the money I raise will play a small part in helping them to go on and support more families.
Thank you so much for helping me to support this fantastic charity.
