Having just turned 40 and clearly having a mid life crisis I am delighted (and petrified!) to reveal that I will be taking part in Manchester Maccabi’s iconic Dancing Strictly show this November at the stunning Stoller Hall in the Chetham School of Music.

This event has the potential to really showcase what our community has to offer and is an amazing opportunity for us all to come together and support each other, whilst having a fun night out in the process!

Each contestant is dancing for their own chosen charity, and I have decided to support Manchester Maccabi! It is such a fantastic charity and has saved me on many a half term by providing fab holiday clubs for my kids! Their centre is a community hub where members can come together to socialise and engage in healthy activities and they provide residents with a wide range of recreational and social activities that are both unifying and empowering. My son also plays on their U9’s team, it is such an integral part of our community it seems only fitting to raise money in support of everything they provide.
