Story
In February, I'll be running the Portsmouth Half Marathon in memory of my friend Luke. Who is sadly no longer with us, having passed away in the tragic Avonmouth accident in 2020. However, his legacy continues to inspire and motivate me every day.
Luke was an amazing friend who always had a way of making everyone around him laugh and a genuine love for health and fitness. The trust was created to honour his legacy and supporting this charity's mission is incredibly meaningful to me as it represents all that Luke was passionate about.
The trust is dedicated to providing training, opportunities, and financial support for young people to pursue apprenticeships and achieve their potential. This is a cause I know Luke would have fully supported and it's one that I'm grateful to contribute to.
Every step I take during this race will be for Luke and the incredible impact he had on many individuals. Through this challenge, I hope to raise money for The Luke Wheaton Legacy Trust that will continue to support young people in striving for their ambitions while staying engaged in fitness.
I would be so grateful for your support as I run in Luke's memory, helping to keep his legacy alive and making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Thank you for supporting me, and more importantly, for supporting The Luke Wheaton Legacy Trust.
