At Team Wakefield, Prestige Nursing & Care, supporting people, families, and our local community is at the heart of everything we do. At the start of 2026, we shared a branch-wide poll with our Wakefield team to choose our Charity of the Year, and Wakefield Hospice was the clear choice, a charity that truly reflects our shared values of compassion, dignity, and togetherness.

Wakefield Hospice is more than a service; it is a warm, welcoming family space where individuals and their loved ones are supported with care, kindness, and respect at some of the most challenging times in their lives. The support they provide extends beyond the individual, offering comfort and reassurance to families and those closest to them.

Throughout 2026, our Wakefield care family will be coming together to raise funds and awareness through a range of activities including walks, hikes, raffles, team fundraising events, and get-togethers. Every step taken and every pound raised will help support the incredible work Wakefield Hospice does within our local community.
