I’m Running My First Half Marathon for Breast Cancer 💗
I’m taking on my very first half marathon – The Great Eastern Half Marathon on Sunday 11th October 2026. This challenge means so much more to me than just crossing the finishing line.
As my close family and friends know, my mum has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is currently receiving treatment. Watching someone you love go through this journey is incredibly difficult, but her strength, courage, and determination inspires me every single day. She is the reason I’m lacing up my running shoes and challenging myself to complete this half marathon.
I’m raising money to support those affected by breast cancer, helping to fund vital research, treatment, and support services so that more people and their families receive the care they need during one of the toughest times of their lives.
Cancer affects so many of us. Statistics show that 1 in 2 people will develop cancer during their lifetime, which means almost every family will be touched by this disease in some way. Together, we can make a difference.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help bring hope to those facing breast cancer and contribute towards improving treatments, support, and, ultimately, finding a cure.
If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this page would mean the world to me.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support. Together, let’s help give more people the chance to overcome breast cancer and create a future where no one has to face it alone.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 💗
