At the end of August I will be going to Kenya with Play Action International to help design and build a playground in an otherwise empty field at a local school! I have always loved helping build and better local neighborhoods through volunteering and this trip helps expand the impact that I've been able to bring.

Through your generous support, I will be helping Play Action International create a lifelong place of play that can create an environment where children's development and well-being are supported and children are able to learn essential skills that will allow them to reach their potential.

Our playgrounds and play programmes bring about remarkable changes:

- 98% of schools report an increase in pupil attendance.

- 74% of children give 'The Playground' as a reason to attend school.

- 83% of teachers report improvements in children's attention and behaviour in classes.
